Audit Partners, Susan Valdez and Tom Akin attended the 2017 Womens Leadership Council Chairmans Reception, honoring Joe Gorder, President and CFO of Valero, and 2017 United Way Community Campaign Chair. The Womens Leadership Council promotes programs which positively impact our communitys children, families and future. The Childcare Scholarship recipient is a true success story, she received outstanding grades and continues to raise three children. The announcement was made that the 2016 recipient will not need to apply again and will receive the scholarship so she can continue to pursue her degree in nursing.
